The perfect summer sandal

The perfect summer sandal isn't all that easy to find. These ones by Sam Edelman fit the bill for me and go straight to my Miami wish list. Would it be the obvious hint of Céline? Anyway, I like how simple the sandal is, with sturdy looking leather and a perfect placement of the heel. On top of that they seem comfortable, good for days at the beach and city, because of the low heel. (Which I'm normally not a fan of - I need me some extra height. But here it just works, so that's a job well done!).

Obsessed with the Givenchy Obsedia bags (what's in a name) and really any accessory with the signature Obsedia hardware; the bracelets are over the top cool too. Hats off to Riccardo Tisci! I'm still in 'need' of a little black bag and not that I should be dreaming of designer one at any point in the next uhm... decade, I don't see anything wrong with putting together a little Obsedia overview ;)

My birthday is coming up, so if anyone out there has a spare 700 dollar and feels like setting me up with some new pointy and pvc stunners (sure, why not?!) to wear with boyfriend-ish jeans and skirts feel absolutely free to do so ;)

I recently came across these these two items while blog browsing, photographed in an H&M showroom, that I think are just great for spring. A jersey peplum tee - this ladylike shape in the most dressed down fabric ever is pretty genius - and a shiny necklace to finish off high neck tees or tanks. The ultimate shoe-down

As soon as I walked in to the Alexander Wang store in New York last Fashion Week, these pointy heels caught my attention. With me were many other New Yorkers, apparently, since there was only a tiny size left that I couldn't fit my foot in if I had to. I haven't been able to track down a black pair in my size which, as always, only makes them more covetable. With a closed toe, an open back and slightly lower heel (that's allowed every once in a while) I feel like they're a perfect all-rounder. And surely, a bit of toe cleavage (yes, I'm one of those people that dig a little toe-action) always puts me over the edge.

I'm constantly keeping my eyes open for perfect pointed pumps. These Louboutin Pigalle's are exactly what I want. A thin heel and a small and pointed front. Too bad they're so pricey (and by what I hear not really comfortable either). So I'm looking for a perfect pointed heel, do you have any suggestions?

Dolce Vita boots via Solestruck

Fallen head over heels with this little piece of suede perfection. They have a perfect chunky heel, good length and big platform and all I know is that I want them now. But the high import taxes and the risk that they might not fit are holding me back. (Plus this Asia trip is kind of cutting in my fashion budget)

Sale season: round two

Like I said, I love combing through online shops when I have the time, especially during sale season. Nothing (in the shopping world) beats seeing an item you've been craving for, for half the price. Because I find it hard to contain myself during sale, I make wishlists and then pick favorites from that. Last week I shared my favorites from My wardrobe, this time I'm turning to ASOS, where sales have now also gone up to 50%. Which suddenly makes things very affordable - all four of these accessories are under €33 - something I think we all love. 

ps. Good news: Asos has free world wide delivery! (Not until June, which I misread, but continuously :D)

Black suede Balenciaga: an urban bag myth?

Ever since I started developing any fashion sense I had a crush on Balenciaga bags. (It all started with the bright seagreen motorcycle bag – I blame the Olsens). Years later, I’m still extremely fond of them, but it never got to a point of investing in one because a) the price and b) I have a feeling I’ve seen them so often. But then… BAM! This black suede Balenciaga town bag hit me in the face. I know I want that to be my first designer handbag. The one problem: I CAN’T FIND IT ANYWHERE! Black Balenciaga’s in leather, yes. Suede Balenciaga's in tan, green and navy, yes. But no black suede Balenciaga town bag.
So if you know a store or online shop that sells a black suede Balenciaga bag in model town (or maybe velo or city), please let me know! And release me from my obsessive online bag hunting ;)

Wishlist: almost spring

Yesterday was the first official spring day, which - you'll probably agree - I thought would never arrive. In the mean time I've put together some pretty items: I always make lists of things I like to help me visualize what I like and why. These are right for spring, but can also be worn in the periods right before or after it. I usually look for things that I can blend in with my current wardrobe and that are not too much weather bound. Currently I'm looking for neutrals mixed with a bit of brights and dose of prints.
