I allowed myself a few hour break to visit Amsterdam Fashion Week last night. Good thing I can practically see the venue from my window. One of the shows that I was really looking forward to was Winde Rienstra. Not only because I had recently spoken to her for a while and found out she's an ambitious and sweet young woman, also because I admire her work that is best placed somewhere in between fashion and art. As you can see, this collection consisted of three-dimensional, sculptural pieces made in unusual materials such as wood and cardboard combined with silk.
